This Cost Sha re Agreement between BLM Colorado River V alley Field Office. Greater Eagle Fire Protection
District. Eagle County. Colorado was prepared under the following authorities provided by:
I.The Interagency Cooperative Fire Management Agreement betwee n the St ate of Colorado; USDA
Forest Service; USDI Burea u of Land Management ; USDI Nation al P ark Service; USDI Bureau of
Indian Affairs; USDI Fish and Wildlife Service.
2.Agreement for Cooperative Wildfire Management between Eagle County and the Stat e of Colorado.

COST SHARE AGREEMENT FOR THE Bocco Fire
It is hereby agreed that the cost basis on this incident will be shared as follows:
INCIDENT
As of June 12, 2018, when the fire was no longer expected to increase in size, it was agreed that the BLM
would cover all costs associated with:
•All aviation resources for the duration of the incident
•Non-structural ground resources after midnight on 6/9/18 where not covered by Eagle County
or the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District
•All other command/support personnel and logistical costs not specifically mentioned as being
provided by Eagle County or the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District (e.g. Type 3 Team,
Resource Advisors, BLM cache supply items, etc.)
The Greater Eagle Fire Protection District would cover all costs associated with:
•All Greater Eagle Fire Protection District Services for the duration of the incident.
Eagle County would cover all costs associated with:
•Eagle County provided resources including the Sheriff's Office, Road and Bridge, and EOC
staffing for the duration of the incident
•The incident dispatcher and Mobile Communications Unit from the Town of Vail for the duration
of the incident
Rationale used in developing this cost agreement:
The fire originated and burned primarily on lands under management of the BLM-Colorado River Valley Field
Office, with just 0.4 acres on private land under the jurisdiction of the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District.
Homes and private property in the Horse Mountain Ranch area were threatened by the fire, prompting evacuations
and structural protection activities lo protect those homes. The homes in the Horse Mountain Ranch area that were
closest to the fire are all within the boundaries of the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District.
This Agreement and the apportionment contained are our best judgments of Agency cost responsibilities on the
date/time shown. Additional Cost Share Agreements for this incident may be approved for future time periods, as
conditions and lire spread change.
