COUNTY, COLORADO
• WHEREAS, by a certain Agreement of Lease and. Option
dated April 3, A. D. 1911, and recorded in Book 78 at Page
186 of the records in the office of the County Clerk and Re-
eorder of Eagle County, Colorado, such lease and option being
by and between the County of Eagle, as first party, and
Harriet Treendly, Iva Oleson, Rexa G. Green, Undine B. Lea
and Ellen N. Doll , second parties, as members of the Trustees
of the Ladies Aid Society of Gypsum in Eagle County, State of
Colorado, and;
WHEREAS, on to-wit, February 5, 1941, an offer was
made to the County of Eagle and State of Colorado, for the
purchase of the lot or parcel of land upon which the Ladies
Aid Building is situate, and;
WHEREAS, by virtue of the provisions of the above
mentioned Lease and Option, notice was given to the Ladies Aid
Society of Gypsum of such offer, and;
WHEREAS, in compliance thereto and in compliance with
the above mentioned Lease and Option, the Ladies Aid Society
then under date of March 7 , 1941, exercised their option to
so purchase.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED That in compliance with
the terms of the above mentioned Lease and Option, the Board
of County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado, do hereby
accept the offer made by the Ladies Aid Society and do hereby
authorize a Quit-Claim Deed to be made, executed and delivered
to the Trustee of the Ladies Aid Society and their successors
in trust , conveying to the Trustees of the Ladies Aid Society
in trust for the use and benefit of the Ladies Aid Society, the
following described property, to-wit :
Commencing at a point 237 feet. South 89°50' East,
and 30 feet, South 0°37, East from the Quarter

Section Corner between Sections 5 and 6 in Township
5 South, Range 85 West of the 6th Principal Meridian;
thence, South 0°37' East 125 feet ; thence North
III 89°50' West, 40 feet ; thence North 0°37' West 125
feet ; thence South 89° 50' East, 40 feet to the point
of beginning.
and that such deed be delivered to them upon the payment as

set out in their offer therefor, being the sum of Twenty Five
Dollars ($25.00) .
Read, considered, passed and approved at a regular
meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County,
State of Colorado, this 7th day of April A. D. 1941.
