ADDENDUM TO
ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THEi9

COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
AND THE
ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF VAIL VALLEY, INC.
WHEREAS, the County of Eagle, acting by and through its
Board of County Commissioners, desires to extend for four months
an Animal Shelter Service Agreement with the Animal Hospital of
Vail Valley, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Animal Hospital of Vail Valley, Inc., a
Colorado corporation, is likewise desires to extend the contract
for four months from January 1, 1997; and
THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual terms, covenants
and conditions set forth in the Animal Shelter Service Agreement
between the parties, the parties agree as follows: .
SECTION I
Parties: The parties to this agreement are the County of
Eagle, a body politic and corporate, acting by and through its
Board of County Commissioners ("County"), and the Animal Hospital
of Vail Valley, Inc., a Colorado corporation ("Shelter").
SECTION II
Term: The term of this Agreement shall be from January 1,
1998 through April 30, 1998; thereafter, this Agreement may renew
on a month to month basis for additional months, as required by
the County.
Payments: The payments due and rates of payment per animal
day due from Eagle County under the Contract in effect on
December 31, 1997 will be the payments due during the duration of
this amendment. All other rights and duties under the contract
as it exists between the parties remain in effect.
