BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE,STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 2017-Q 2.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ANY OF THE EAGLE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SALE OF THE TWO
BRIDGES LANDING PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado ("Board")
desires to"convey the Two Bridges Landing Property which is approximately 17.13 acres in size
and located at 18231 State Highway 131 in Eagle County, Colorado, (the "Property") to The
Conservation Fund; and
WHEREAS, The Conservation Fund will then convey the Property to the U.S.
Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management ("Bureau of Land Management") for
continued operation as a recreational site offering access to the Colorado River; and
WHEREAS, in anticipation of the conveyance of the Property to The Conservation Fund
and ultimately the Bureau of Land Management, the Board desires to grant any of the Eagle
County Commissioners the authority to execute any and all documents necessary for completing
the transaction, which may include an amendment to the existing purchase agreement to extend
the closing date, if necessary, closing documents, deeds, affidavits, and other documents; and
WHEREAS, the costs associated with the conveyance of the Property, which may
include but not be limited to, appraisals, title insurance and other closing costs will be deducted
from Eagle County's proceeds at closing or will be paid by Eagle County upon receipt of an
accurate invoice after closing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT, the Board authorizes any Commissioner to execute on its behalf any and all
necessary documents, deeds, instruments, papers or other forms necessary for the conveyance
of the Property to The Conservation Fund and ultimately to the Bureau of Land Management
which may include an amendment to the existing purchase agreement to extend the closing
date,if necessary; and
THAT, the Board authorizes that any appropriate costs associated with the conveyance
of the Property, which may include but not be limited to, appraisals, title insurance and other
closing costs will be deducted from Eagle County's proceeds at closing or will be paid by
Eagle County upon receipt of an accurate invoice after closing; and
THAT, all documents necessary for conveyance of the Property, as well as closing
costs to be deducted from Eagle County's proceeds at closing, are subject to review and
approval by the Eagle County Attorney's Office; and
THAT, the Board of County Commissioners finds, determines and declares that this
Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 31 day of QGd-Ohel, 2917.
