EAGLE COUNTY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
PURCHASE OF PERSONNEL SERVICE
1. THIS CONTRACT, made this 1st day of February, 1996, by and between the Eagle County
Department of Social Services, hereinafter called "ECDSS" and the Eagle County Nursing
Service through the Board of County Commissioner of Eagle County, hereinafter called
"Contractor".
2. This Contract will be effective February 1, 1996 to December 31, 1996 and will continue in
force and be automatically renewed on an annual basis until terminated in writing.
3. ECDSS agrees to purchase and Contractor agrees to provide the FTE of .20 Administrative
Supervisor for the supervision of two Social Services account clerks and for administrative
support provided to the Director of Social Services.
4. ECDSS agrees to reimburse Contractor for .20 FTE Administrative Supervisor, including
salary and fringe benefits. The dollar amount of this contract will be based on the actual salary
and fringe benefits for the said Administrative Supervisor. The Administrative Supervisor will
remain a county employee under Nursing Services and will not be covered by the provisions of
the State Merit System.
5. The parties agree that the Contractor's relationship to the Department of Social Services, with
respect to the subject matter of this contract, is that of an independent contractor.
6. The parties agree that payment pursuant to this Contract is subject to and contingent upon the
continuing availability of funds for the purpose thereof.
7. Termination: Either party may terminate this Contract by thirty (30) days prior notification in
