Exhibit A-1
Scope of Services, Schedule and Fees
A Trauma Assessment is a comprehensive review of a child’s life experiences along with
developmental testing and a psychosocial interview. A Trauma Assessment focuses on the
ongoing impact of potentially traumatic events and the ways those events may alter the child's
level of functioning. Assessment recommendations focus on the ways to utilize resiliency based
strategies to mitigate the impact on the child's future functioning in the three key areas of
resiliency: relationships, mastery/efficacy and affect regulation.
Trauma Assessments allow Eagle County Department of Human Services (ECDHS) to focus
beyond traditional mental health diagnoses, treatments, and behavioral-based interventions.
Instead the focus becomes building resiliency through alternative trauma-informed supports that
uniquely fit the child’s needs.
