x. Contractor will provide one (l ) armed security officer to be stationed at
the main enrrance to the Eagle County Building tocated at 500
Broadway, Eagle, CO 81631.
xi. Dap and hours of operation are generally Monday through Friday, from
8:00 a-m. to 5:00 p.m., exceptiDg horidays. occasionar pubric meerings
may occur outside of these hours and may require security services.
xii. 'The security oflicer will be properly trained and licensed to accornplish
the Services.
xiii' Contractor will provide County with a list of approved sccurify officen
or subcontractors who rnay be stationed at the Eagle county campus
during the term of this Agreernent and will notify County at its eartiest
convenience of any changes. The county shall have thc right to
disapprovc of aay proposed personnel and subcontractors prior 0o the
commcncement of or during the provision of any services under this
Agreement.
xiv. At all times while on duty and performing the Services under this
Agreement, contractor's security officer will be ctothed in a uniform
distinguishing him or her as a sccurity officer.
xv' In connecrion with the serviees, contractor's security officen will
coordinate with the Facilities Managanent Department, or their
designee, for all operational matters.
xvi. If the Conrractor us€s any equipment owned by Eagle County,
contractor shall be responsible for maintaining such equipment in good
worting order.
xvii. contractor will be responsible for replacement of any of the equipment
broken or damaged as a result of negligent or willful conduct of its
security olficcrs, othcr employes or subcontractors. Replaccment shall
be same or equivalent cquipmeirt, as approved by County.

Eagle County Administration Building
Roles and Responsibilities
The following is a list of Roles and Responsibilities for the Security Officer assigned to the Eagle
County Administration Building.
1) The Security Officer will report to duty by 0745 and conduct a walkthrough of the
building, to include each floor and each office. During this time the Security Officer will
check behind each vending machine and under each stainivell.
2) At 0815 the Security Officer will conduct a walk around of the campus to include the
Facility Department and the HHS Building located on the West side of the campus.
3) Every 45 minutes to an hour the Security Officer will conduct a walk around of the entire
campus to include the Eagle County Administration Building, the Facilities Building, and
the HHS Building. During this time the Security Officer will enter each department and
check the status of the employees and the customers.
4) The Security Officer will be responsible for becoming familiar with each departments
location and staff to better assist the public with information.
5) The Security Officer will become familiar with the location of each Fire Extinguisher and
each AED inside the Eagle County Administration Building and become familiar with the
operation of each item.
6) The Security Officer will make contact with Barry Smith, Emergency Management
Director of Eagle County, whose office is located in the Eagle County Administration
Building in reference to Fire Drills, Evacuation Plans, and Lockdown Procedures of the
Eagle County Administration Building.
7) The Security Officer will become CPR and First Aid Certified within the first 45 days of
assignment.
8) The Security Officer will be expected to assist any and all handicapped individuals who
enter into the Eagle County Administration Building.
9) The Security Officer will conduct a final walkthrough of the campus before the Security
Officer completes his or her duty day.
10) The Security Officer will be expected to attend all Eagle County Commissioners
meetings on each Tuesday at 10 a.m. and will remain at the meeting until released by a
County Commissioner.
1 1) The Security Officer will attend every foreclosure sale conducted by the Public Trustee
Office on every Wednesday at 10 a.m.
12) The Security Officer will escort employees from the HHS Building to the Treasurer
Office on a daily basis to deposit funds.
13) The Security Officer will be responsible for intervening with unruly customers and assist
in resolving the situation in a calm manner. The Security Officer will be responsible for
establishing a code word and signal to be utilized by the employees in case a situation
arises that requires the Security Guard to become involved.
14) The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a productive working relationship
with the Eagle Police Department and the Eagle County Sheriff's Office.
15) The Security Officer will adhere to the Citadel Security S.O.P.
