THIS AGREEMENT is entered into as of the 1$ day of January, 2016 by fre U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY, UNITED STATES
DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, party of the first part, and EAGLE COUNTY, party of the second pari.
1. The parties hereto agree that subjec{ to the availability of appropriations and in accordance with their respec{ive authorities there shall
be maintained in coopenation the operatlon and malntenance of the streamllow gaging station 09064600 Eagle River near
Mintum, CO, hereinafiercalled he program. The USGS legal authority is 43 USC 36C; 43 USC 50; and 43 USC 50b.
2. The following amounts shall be contributed to cover all of the cost of the necessary field and analytical work directly related to this
program. 2(b) includes In-Kind SeMces in the amount of $0.(X1.
(a) $5,480.00 by he party of the first part during the period
January 1, 2016 to December3l, 2016
(b) $11,120.00' by tte party of the second part during the pedod
January 1, 2016 to December3l, 2015

(d) Additional or reduced amounts by each party during the above period or succeeding periods as may be determined by mutual
agreernent and set forh in an exchange of lefters between the parties.
(e) The perbrmance period may be changed by mutual agreement and set forth in an exchange of letters between the parties.
3. The costs of this program may be paid by eilher party in conformity with the laws and regulations respedively goveming each party.
4. The field and anal$ical work pertaining to this program shall be under the diredion of or subjed to periodic review by an authorEed
representative of he party of the frst part.
5. The areas to be induded in the program shall be determined by mutual agreement between the parties hereto or freir authorized
representatives. The mehods employed in the field and office shall be those adopted by the party of the frst pail to ensure the required
standards of accurary subject to modification by mutual agreement.
6. During lhe course of ftis program, all field and analytical work of either party pertraining to this program shall be open to the inspec{ion
of the other party, and if the work is not being canied on in a mutually satishc{ory manner, eiiher party may terminate this agreement upon
60 days written notice to lhe other party.
7. The original records rcsulting ftom this progmm will be deposited in the offce of origin of those records. Upon request, copries of the original
records will be provided to the ofice of the other party.
8. The maps, records or reports resulting from this program shall be made available to he public as pmmpdy as possible. The maps, records
or reports normally will be published by $e party of he first part. However, the pa$ of the second part reserves tre right to publish the
results of this program and, if already published by the party of the first part shall, upon request, be fumished by tre pany of the first part, at
cost, impressions suitable for purposes of reproduclion similar to that for which he odginal copy was prepared. The maps, records or
reports published by eiher party shall ontain a statement of the ooperative relations between the parties.
9. USGS will issue billings utilizing Deparbnent of the Interior Billfor Colledion (Form Dl-l04O). Billing documenis are to be rendered annuallv
(Seobmber 20161. Payments of bills are due within @ days afrer he billing date. lf not paid by the due dale, interest will be charged at the
cunent Treasury rate for each 30 day pedod, or portion thereot that the payment is delayed beyond the due date. (31 USC 3717; Compboller
