BETWEEN
EAGLE COUNTY AND H&B SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES,INC.
THIN� IRST AMENDMENT ("First Amendment") is made and entered into this '(�
day of S l\h/rk i , 2014, between Eagle County, Colorado a body corporate and politic
(hereinafter referre to as "County") and H & B Snow Removal, Inc., a Colorado Corporation
organized and existing by virtue of the laws of the State of Colorado and with an office and
principal place of business at 916 B Chambers Ave., Eagle, CO 81631 (hereinafter referred to as
"Contractor").
WHEREAS, County and Contractor entered into an Agreement dated November 06,
2013, for services related to frozen precipitation removal services at the Miller Ranch
Community Center, redF d om Park recreation paths, Eagle County Justice Center and the Senior
Center("Original Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, County and Contractor wish to add additional Work and compensation to
the Original Agreement on the same terms and conditions as set forth in the Original Agreement.
NOW,THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration the County and Contractor
agree to amend the Original Agreement as follows:
1. Capitalized terms in this First Amendment will have the same meaning as in the
Original Agreement. To the extent that the terms and provisions of the First Amendment conflict
with, modify or supplement portions of the Original Agreement, the terms and provisions
contained in this First Amendment shall govern and control the rights and obligations of the
parties.
2. Article 1 shall be amended by the addition of the following language:
"During the period of December 16th through April 15th, Contractor shall perform frozen
precipitation removal services, including snow plowing, shoveling, ice chipping, and the
application of ice melt products, at the Eagle County Maintenance Service Center in
Gypsum, Colorado, as shown in site map attached hereto as Exhibit"A2" and
incorporated herein by this reference (to be part of the "Work" identified in the Original
Agreement). For the this component of the Work, frozen precipitation must be removed
from sidewalk surfaces, including those leading to each of the exterior egress doors to the
building as shown in Exhibit"A2". This component of the Work should be initially
completed by 7:30 a.m. when frozen precipitation is present. This Work also includes the
application of ice melt on main accesses of parking area and on sidewalks leading up to
the building's exterior doors."
3. Article 4 shall be amended to add the following Language:
"For the Work provided for the Maintenance Service Center as provided herein, County
shall pay to the Contractor monthly installments of$700.00 for Work satisfactorily
performed, but in no event shall the total amount paid to the Contractor for this Work
exceed $2,100.00 absent a written amendment to this Agreement and the Fees List
attached hereto as Exhibit"B2" and incorporated herein by this reference."

4. All terms and provisions of the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.
5. This First Amendment shall be binding on the parties hereto, their heirs,
executors, successors, and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment the day and
year first above written.
