EAGLE COUNTY 800 MHz DEPARTMENT
THIS AGREEMENT("Agreement"), dated this IV day of I`JO , 2013, is between
Eagle County Regional Airport("Airport"), and Eagle County 800 Hz Department.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, 800 MHz Department desires to take over the East :eacon Tower from the Airport and
renew the lease agreement with the United States Department of the nterior Bureau of Land Management
for use of the site.
WHEREAS, 800 MHz Department has experience and expertise in andling such equipment; and
WHEREAS, Airport and 800 MHZ Department intend by this Agr;ement to set forth the scope of their
respective responsibilities.
NOW,THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises . d the following promises,Airport
and 800 MHz Department agree as follows:
1. SCOPE OF WORK: 800 MHz Department shall furnish al services, labor, and personnel
necessary in the use of the tower and equipment installed at the property located at Sixth Principal
Meridian, Colorado,T.5S.,R.84 W., sec.6, lot 11 T.5S., R. 85 W.,s:c 1, lots 6, 7, and 11. The Bureau of
Land Management identifies property by Serial Number COC 35213, East Eagle FCC Beacon Tower.
See attached Exhibit A.
2. REPRESENTATIONS: 800 MHz Department has famili. 'zed itself with the nature and extent
of the use of the tower and equipment,and has studied carefully the shysical condition of the tower and
equipment and shall be solely responsible for the safety of its employ-es in the performance and usage of
the tower and equipment. Airport is releasing all claims of ownershi. to the East Eagle FCC Beacon
tower and equipment.
3. AGREEMENT PRICE: 800 MHz Department shall pay Eagle County Regional Airport the
total sum of $12,500.00 to take ownership of the East Beacon tower and equipment. 800 MHz
Department will assume the commercial broadcast stations leases an. agreements with NRC Broadcasting
and Educational M-,'. o,ndation.
