Project Description and Budget
Project Description: Funds will be used to maintain and improve the quality of Prater Lane Playschool
on several projects. Materials will be purchased for rooms and playground improvements. These
improvements will coincide with ICERS /ECERS and /or Qualistar rating scales. In addition funds will help
offset the initial tuition increase to our infant and toddler families, which will help alleviate the rising
cost of tuition. The outcomes of these projects will be that the children have quality experiences in the
classroom and outside by providing developmentally appropriate materials, equipment and appropriate
classroom environments, and the families will experience a relief from the high cost of care by providing
them a tuition credit for the first month of our initial tuition increase.
Goals: The goal is that all children will have quality early care and development experiences.
