GEOLOGICAL SURVEY AMENDMENT OF JOINT FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR WATER RESOURCES INVESTIGATIONS This amendment is for the agreement dated June 1, 2006 (CO045/07C4CO07113/Mod #2). 1. The parties hereto agree that subject to the availability of appropriations and in accordance with their respective authorities there shall be maintained in cooperation the preparation of the water-qualit~nortions of the Roaring_Fork Collaborative State of the Watershed report and preparation of the USGS report on WQ in the Roaring Fork Watershed, herein called the program. 2. Paragraph 2a of the agreement is hereby X increased/_decreased by 4 280.00 to read as follows: (a) 23 610.00 by the party of the first part during the period June 1, 2006 to December 31, 2009 Paragraph 2b of the agreement is hereby X increased/_decreased by $10,000.00 to read as follows: (b) 39 000.00 * by the party of the second part during the period June 1, 2006 *Unmatched $15,390. to December 31, 2009 Billing for this agreement will be rendered quarterly. Payments of bills are due within 60 days after billing date. If not paid by the due date, interest will be charged at the current Treasury rate for each 30-day period, or portion thereof, that the payment is delayed beyond the due date. The agreement provides partial support of the 2008 project activities including: preparation of the USGS report on water quality in the Roaring Fork River watershed. The modification is in the amount of $14,280 - an additional $10,000 from Eagle County which makes the total $39,000 and an additional $4,280 from the USGS making our total $23,610. The end date of the agreement remains December 31, 2009. If the agreement modification is satisfactory, please sign both originals; keep one for your records and return one to the Colorado Water Science Center Director at the address shown below.
