GEOLOGICAL SURVEY AMENDMENT OF JOINT FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR WATER RESOURCES INVESTIGATIONS This amendment is for the agreement dated June 1, 2006 (07113/CO045) 1. The parties hereto agree that subject to the availability of appropriations and in accordance with their respective authorities there shall be maintained in cooperation for the preparation of the water -quality portions of the Roaring Fork Collaborative State of the Watershed report and preparation of the USGS report on WQ in the Roaring Fork watershed herein called the program. 2. Paragraph 2a of the agreement is hereby X increased/_ decreased by $10,000 to read as follows: (a) $ 19,330.00 by the party of the first part during the period June 1, 2006 to December 31, 2009 Paragraph 2b of the agreement is hereby _X—increased/ decreased by $15,000 to read as follows: (b) $29,000.00 by the party of the second part during the period June 1, 2006 to December 31, 2009 Billing for this agreement will be rendered quarterly. Payments of bills are due within 60 days after billing date. If not paid by the due date, interest will be charged at the current Treasury rate for each 30 -day period, or portion thereof, that the payment is delayed beyond the due date. Denver Federal Center Denver, Colorado 80225 May 22, 2007 Enclosed are two originals of an amended Joint Funding Agreement between Eagle County and the U.S. Geological Survey extending the ending date to December 31, 2009. The agreement provides partial support of the 2007 project activities including: preparation of the water -quality portions of the Roaring Fork Collaborative State of the Watershed report, and preparation of the USGS report on water quality in the Roaring Fork River watershed. The modification is in the amount of $48,330 — an additional $15,000 from Eagle County which makes the total $29,000 and an additional $10,000 from the USGS making our total $19,330 If the agreement is satisfactory, please sign both originals; keep one for your records and return one in the enclosed envelope. Due to increased demand for USGS Federal cooperative matching dollars, it is important that this Joint Funding Aggreement (JFA) be signed and returned to the Colorado Water Science Center within two weeks from receipt of this JFA. If this presents a hardship, please contact us. Work performed with funds from this agreement will be conducted on a fixed-price basis.
