REGIONAL CHILD CARE PROGRAM
5-COUNTY 1999 IGA AND 2002 AMENDED IGA
The County of EAGLE, State of COLORADO,
The County of PITKIN, State of COLORADO, and
The County of GARFIELD, State of COLORADO
The Tri-County Child Care Licensing Program will recruit,
train and license family child care providers in Eagle, Garfield
and pitkin Counties. The three counties agree to share the costs
of the Tri-County Child Care Licensing Program, described on the
program description attached to and incorporated herein by this
reference as Exhibit "A", during the fiscal year July I, 2006 -
June 30, 2007, based upon each county's number of licensed child
care homes, as shown in duplicate Memoranda of Understanding, one
executed by Pitkin and Garfield Counties and the other by Eagle
and Garfield Counties, as follows:
Total Project Expenditures for the SFY 2006-2007, $61,080.00:
Garfield/Eagle/Pitkin
Personnel (@ 75% less retirement) $ 44,080.00
Operating 11,000.00
Travel 5,000.00
Space -0-
Equipment 1,000.00
Total Child Care Licensing $ 61,080.00
Budget
Less State Agreement ($ 20,993.00)
Total County/TANF Transfer $ 40,087.00

Pitkin $2,004(5%) i Eagle $12,026(30%) i Garfield $26,057(65%)
Eagle, Pitkin and Garfield Counties agree to the allocation of
costs detailed above, based upon funding from the State
Department of Human Services Division of Child Care and the
transfer of Temporary Assistance To Needy Families and/or other
County funds among one or more of the three counties. Eagle
County and Pitkin County will reimburse Garfield County in one
annual payment on or before September 1, 2006.

Scope of Services
Regional Tri-County Child Care Licensing Program
Investigation and certification of day care homes in Eagle,
Garfield and Pitkin Counties, including without limitation:
provision of technical assistance
pre-licensing training approximately every two months
original and supervisory licensing visits
complaint visits
unlicensed care visits
attendance at ECAFCC ,quarterly MtAEYC, and RFAEYC meetings
communication with providers regarding available training
programsi assist, periodically, with mailings for training
programs
presentations at conferences
presentation of training programs: "Ounce" and "Expanding Quality
in Infant and Toddler Care"
Collaboration with Kids' First
presentation of training at Kids' First's "Caring for Kids"
