Ruuway' 7/25 and the parallel laxiway "A" at the Eagle Count) Rcgioual Airpnrt are to be cxtcuded ,
1,000 feet on the Runway 25 (East) end nfthe runway'. Currently' Runway 7f25 is 8,000 feet in length. J
Upon eomllletion of the Runway Extension project, the length oUhe runway' will be increased to 9,000
feet in total length. The runway' curreutly' has a 632 foot wide safety area, and the extensiou will carry
a 500 foot wide runway safety area width. In addition tn extending the runway' 1,000 feet, an extended
safety area of 1,000 feet beyond the I"Unwaythrcshold will need tobe (Iropcrly graded atth eendofthc

The Runway' Extcnsiou prnjcct will haye several anticipated benefits for the air(lort. Tt will iucrease
.~afcty measures at the air(lort, by addiugadditionall,OOO fectiu overall length to the runway. The
project will also provide the additional length that will allow aircraft to takcnff and land with
additional payloads, thus gcnerating more revenue for the airport, and also may generate intcnst fnr
additioual companies to npcrate out of the airport.

the Airport Improvement Program, General standards for final acceptance and close out of federally funded
construction projects are in Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations. Part 18,50, The sponsor shall determine
