LAWN MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
This notice of annual renewal is entered into the 2-0-ntday Ojj~l~ 2005, between
Olson Property Maintenance and Eagle County.
Property Locations: Eagle County Building, Justice Center/Annex, Fairgrounds, Golden
Eagle Senior Center and Eagle County Maintenance Service Facility.
OLSON PROPERTY MAINTENANCE hereby agrees to provide lawn maintenance at
the locations listed above on a weekly basis, including materials and labor, as specified and
accepted below.
Lawn Maintenance Contract: Billed at $770 per week, which includes mowing and string
trimming of main lawn areas.
The Lawn Maintenance Contract will begin on May 1, 2005 and terminate on October 15,
2005.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
(Billed on an hourly basis.)
Spring Clean-up: Billed at $35 per person, per hour.
*Includes general clean-up, thatching and gravel removal on lawn areas. Any additional
services provided will be billed at the same $35 hourly rate per person.
Irrigation: Billed at $45 per person, per hour.
*Includes general maintenance and repair of irrigation system.
Materials will be billed seperately.
Tree Trimming: Billed at $45 per person, per hour.
*Includes pruning of ornamental and shade trees.
Fall Clean-up: Billed at $35 per person, per hour.
*lncludes general clean-up of lawn areas and bagging of leaves.
Additional String Trimming ofDryscape Areas: Billed at $35 per person, per hour.
Fertilization & Aeration (spring & fall): Pricing would be based on square footages.
Any additional services requested but not listed above will be billed at $35 per person, per
..
hour plus materials.
MISCELLANEOUS
Billing will be done on a monthly basis for all services, contractual and hourly.
Olson Property Maintenance will designate one day per week to perform contractual
services and thereafter, to the best of their ability, provide the services on that day through
the period of the contract.
Olson Property Maintenance will provide proof of insurance.

The following is a copy of the notice o~r our contract with Eagle
County for lawn maintenance services. In 2 we were told to bill hourly for the new
grass behind the Annex building (and for the additional work involved during the Kolby
Bryant trial). For 2005, we raised the weekly billing to (1) cover the additional work
behind the Annex building, instead of doing it by the hour, and (2) cover the additional
expense of fuel since prices have not come down. This is our first price increase to the
county in two years. Please call if you think there will be any concerns with this price
mcrease.

Dear Clark, cY?
We got your telephone message regarding the 2005 contract. In regards to your question
about man-hours involved in our weekly mowing service for the county, it averages
approximately 42 hours per week. This varies from week to week, depending on
conditions, but this is a midpoint for the season. We also have to pay our expenses for
fuel, repairs, insurance. equipment payments and supplies. Please call if you have any more
questions about the contract.
