TffA Agreement
PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to prepare and present training for staff, Policy Council and Policy
Committee Members of Eagle County Early Childhood Services (hereinafter referred to as "Program") in
accordance with the requirements of the Head Start Program Performance Standards (rev. 11/96)
SCOPE OF WORK
Training and Technical Assistance Services (hereinafter referred to as "TIT AS") staff member, Colleen
B. Mendel, proposes to provide the following:
. Governance training sessions for Board, Policy Council and staff members
scheduled date: May 10, 2005
Upon receipt of fully executed contract, T /T AS will provide services. The training will include lectures,
discussion, practice, and audio-visual materials, as appropriate. Training provided will include handouts and
other materials necessary for participants to take full advantage of the sessions. All handouts/materials are
copyrighted by T /T AS. The Program shall handle space, audio/video equipment, and logistics for the session(s).
Sessions cannot be recorded by audio or video tape.
Program and T /T AS shall hold each other harmless against any grievances or liability which may result
from the provision of services.
COST AND PRICING
The training will be performed on a fixed price basis at a cost to Eagle County Early Childhood Services
of $1,700 which includes preparation, delivery and up to 25 copies of training materials. Additional sets of
materials may be purchased at $ 160/set for 25 copies of two booklets shipping included. Travel expenses will
be additional, rate of reimbursement pursuant to travel regulations for Western Kentucky University. A cost
estimate for travel can be provided to program by trainer on request. If documentation is required for travel
reimbursement, please advise trainer. It shall be the responsibility ofT IT AS to invoice the Program for payment
for services described above and to pay all fees and expenses to individuals engaged in providing these services.
T /T AS shall submit one invoice for payment at completion of services. It shall be the responsibility of the
Program to pay in full within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
CANCELLATION: Cancellation of mutually scheduled days will be subject to a twenty-five percent (25%)
cancellation fee. Rescheduling mutually agreed date(s) less than fifteen days prior to scheduled date(s) will be
subject to a twenty,..five percent (25%) additional fee. Program shall be invoiced for travel expenses incurred
by T /T AS as a result of cancellation or rescheduling.
The signatures affixed below bind both parties to the project and attendant terms and conditions described in this
agreement.
