You are directed to make the changes noted below in the Subject Contract. Appropriations to
cover the costs of additional work have been made.

Nature of Changes:
1) In order to eventually install restroom facilities on the Berry Creek Skatepark and
Playground site, water and sewer lines must be installed. This change order covers the
cost of utility installation. A cost itemization is attached as Exhibit "E".
2) Due to the additional work directed by Eagle County, the contract date,must be
extended by twenty (20) working days from July 15, 2005, to August 12, 2005, for
substantial completion.
These changes result in the following adjustment of Contract Price and Contract Time:
Contract Price Prior to this Change Order $943,552.50
Net Increase Resulting from Change Order No. 1 $126,845.00

' 2" Copper price is increased due to the fact it no longer has a common trench to be installed into.
' Ductile Iron prices are set to rise by the end of the month. If change order is not approved prior to this increase
pricing will have to be adjusted.
