CLEANUP & DAMAGE POLICIES
I, as the responsible party understand that as a renter of the Glenwood Springs Community Center, I am responsible for the clean uP and repair of the
rerrted area immediately following use, including:
1. Removal of all decorations/ items trash from the floor, fixtures, tables, chairs, walls, etc.
2 Removal of all food and beverages. Clean up of all spills.
4. All trash deposited in provided receptacles.
5. Cleaning of all kitchen area and equipment, including counters.
6. Any damage to walls, floors, or doors.
7. Damage to tables, chairs or equipment.
GLENWOOD SPRINGS COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL POLICIES
1. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN FACILITY.
2. The Community Center will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles during time of use by an individual, group or organization.
3_ Animals are prohibited in the facility with the exception of a guide-dog as a service animal for the disabled.
4. Rooms will not be used to accommodate a gathering which would violate minimum safety standards set by the Building Code In-
spector.
5. Decorations must not be attached to painted walls, ceilings or accordion track doors.
6. Nails, tacks, push pins, staples, tape and screws will not be used to attach decorations to any part of the facility.
7. The Community Center will not store or be held responsible for items left after the rental

chairs, wiping uP all spills and picking up all trash. The facility will provide trash receptacles. If additional clean up is required, the
rental user will be charged at a rate of $20 per staff hour.
9. 'Any facility equipment that is used during a rental agreement must be appropriately used and protected to ensure no damages will
be incurred. Any damage to equipment will be assessed and charged accordingly to replacement of tatrnent retail value:

tions of the City of Glenwood Sprirtgs, specifically including those regarding the use of City property or facilities atui the conduct of persons in or on City properly
or facilities, whether now or hereafter adopted.
• Evening events must be completed by 11:00 p.m and Community Center vacated by 12 midnight.
• The Community Center does aoY provide utensils, cups. plates, etc.
• 1'aretrts are responsible for the behavior of then children. Please monitor their behavior at all times.

• Cottattmption of alcohol is only permitted for a maximum of four (4) consecutive hours arui cannot be served past 10:00 p.m Suffilay-Thursday and 11:00 p.m
Friday and Saturday. This includes beer, wine, spirituous liquor. Cash bars are trot allowed unless renter has obtained a City Permit to sell alcohol.

RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES [ XJ
• The renter is re~onsible for all participarts attending the event, and damages caused by them
• The renter must pay for all damages to the facility, even if the damages exceed the refundable security deposit.
• The renter must remove all decorations & trash items fiom the floor, tables, chairs, etc.
CANCELLATION POLICY [A ]
if the event is canceled founeen days (14) or more prior to the event, a full refund a~ deposit will be issued. If the evert is cancelled less than (l4) days prior to the
event, 25% of the total room retrtal fees will be charged & will be deducted by the City to cover the cod of handling and unavailability of facility to others, before the
refund is made. 1 f the evert is cancelled the day of the evert, ALL room rental fees will be cltareed. but deposit will be refunded. Deposit refunds, rental refunds. if any,
will be mailed within (20) days after use

The City of Glenwood Springs "City" and Eagle County Government "Lessee" in consideration
of the terms and conditions set forth herein, agree to the following:
1. The lessee will comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies of the City of
Glenwood Springs and the Community Center Gymnasium.
2. In the event it shall become necessary for the City to enforce any or all of the terms,
covenants, and conditions of this agreement, the Lessee agrees to pay all expenses
incurred.
3. During the time the facility is being used by the Lessee, the Lessee is responsible for
accidents, injuries, damages, or loss of property, to the extent allowable by law. Lessee
shall indemnify and hold the City of Glenwood Springs harmless for any and all claims
resulting for the use of the facility by the Lessee, the employees or guests to the extent
allowable by law.
4. Rental Rates include exclusive use of facility on a per hour basis. The lessee will not
sub-lease the facility.
5. Rental will only be available during non-programmed hours of the facility.
6. Left blank.
7. Group size is limited to 50 people to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
8. Non-facilitated use is not available for normal rentals unless previously approved by the
Parks and Recreation Department.
9. Non-facilitated users must have the appropriate footwear while using the gym.
10. No food or drink, with the exception of water I s allowed in the gymnasium.
11. Cancellations and refunds: The City of Glenwood Springs reserves the right to cancel this
agreement and withdraw the permission hereby granted for just cause or failure to
comply with any of the above terms and conditions. In such cases, the Lessee will, upon
request, immediately remove all persons and equipment it has caused to be in the facility,
with no refund.
12. The City of Glenwood Springs reserves the right to cancel any event due to special
events, scheduling conflicts and/or program requirements. When events are cancelled,
we will make every effort to reschedule the event at a time convenient to the Climbing
Wall and the user. In the event that we cannot agree on a time, a refund will be
processed.
Applicant agrees to read and adhere to all policies, rules, and regulation of the Community
Center Climbing Wall and to the terms this form.
