Assignment of Contract Dear Mr. Storer: On July 7, 2000, Morrison Knudsen Corporation completed its acquisition of Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, and a bigger and stronger organization emerged to service its clients: Washington Group International, Inc. Within Washington Group International, Centennial Engineering, Inc., doing business as MK Centennial,and the personnel and assets of Raytheon Infrastructure have been combined and are now doing business as Washington Infrastructure Services, Inc, a Colorado corporation. As a result of the acquisition, the rights and obligations under the referenced contract as amended by Amendment No.1 dated July 27, 1998, Amendment No.l (Revised) dated February 7, 2000, Amendment No.2 dated May 24, 1999, Amendment No.3 dated February 28, 2000, Amendment No.3 (Revised) dated June 5, 2001, Amendment No.4 dated November 13, 2000, and Amendment No.5 dated September 11, 2001 have been assumed by Washington Infrastructure Services, Inc. (WIS) and hereafter, with your consent, the remaining obligations under referenced contract and the above stated Amendments 1, 1 (Revised), 2, 3, 3 (Revised), 4, and 5 will be performed by WIS. NIA PROJECT /CONTRACT DESCRIPTION: The Airport has had an agreement with Raytheon Infrastructure, Inc. for airport engineering. Raytheon was sold to Washington Infrastructure, Inc. This assignment will transfer the Airport's agreement to the new company. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval and Execution BASIS FOR RECOMMENDATION: The Airport's engineering continues to be undertaken by the same personnel as with Raytheon. This assignment will allow invoicing to coincide with agreements.
