Re: Second Cooley Mesa Road Annexation and
First National Guard Annexation

The Board of County Commissioners for Eagle County, took formal action this morning
on both the Second Cooley Mesa Road Annexation Petition and the First National Guard
Annexation Petition. At this time the Board of County Commissioners is withdrawing both
Petitions from further consideration by the Town of Gypsum.
Diane Mauriello of the county attorney's office will contact you later this week to advise
you when a revised legal description for the First National Guard Annexation will be prepared.
With respect to the Second Cooley Mesa Road Annexation, Eagle County is in the process of
reviewing the airport master plan and road alignment.
