RUDD CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR,CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC
SERVICE FACILITY AT THE TREE FARM
THIS AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT, is made and entered into th s> &day of
2001, by and between the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, through its Board
of County Commissioners ( "Eagle County'), and Rudd Construction, Inc. ( "Construction
Manager/ General Contractor" or "CM/GC ").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Eagle County and Construction Manager/ General Contractor entered into a
contract for construction of a public facility at the Tree Farm dated December 18, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Eagle County and the CM/GC wish to enlarge the scope of work and adjust
the payment under such contract by the amount of $45,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the CM/GC has accepted the enlargement of the scope of work under the
December 18, 2000 Contract pursuant to the letter attached as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, Eagle County wishes to accept the contract change from a Guaranteed
Maximum Price of $2,400,000.00 to $2,445,000.00 in return for the additional work specified in
Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises of the
parties hereto, the County agrees to accept the offer of the CM/GC to increase the scope of work
outlined in Exhibit A in return for a new Guaranteed Maximum Price of $2,445,000.00.

Attached please find the following submissions requested in your letter of May 9/01:
- GMP /Estimate
- Project Construction Schedule (Ex. B)
Contract Time (Ex. E)
Allowances (Ex. I)
Item #3, "CM /GC Fee Structure and Cost Allocations ", and item '#5, "General Conditions/
General Requirements ", are not applicable at this stage.
The estimate is $45,000. above our target GMP of $2,400,000. This is a result of the
addition of the following items to the Project Scope of Work:
1. Additional work to complete tie -in to Valley Road $24,000.
2. Additional work to prepare Kitchen for future full
service use $ 8,000
3. Other changes, including going to a 2 -stage furnace
system. adding fire and smoke dampers in the
'Courtroom/Multi- Purpose Room, relocating the
water line, addition of wall tile in the Bathrooms,
and adding a flagpole $13,000.

CONTRACT TIME
Per the requirements of paragraphs 2.1.8 and 6.3 of this Contract, it is agreed by
the County and the CMIGC that the date of Completion of Work shall be 11
months from the date of Notice to Proceed.
Since the date of Notice to Proceed has been established as April 16, 2001, the
date for Completion of Work shall be March 15, 2002.
