This Agreement is made between the Grand County Department of
Social Services (hereinafter referred to as GCDSS) and the Clear
Creek, Eagle, Routt and Summit County Departments of Social
Services (hereinafter referred to as the Counties).
Whereas, the GCDSS has entered into a Cooperative Reimbursement
Agreement with the State of Colorado, Department of Social Services
(hereinafter referred to as CSDSS), to participate in the enhanced
funding reimbursement program for costs of FS /AFDC investigations
relating to intentional fraud (hereinafter referred to as the
Investigative Program); and
Whereas, the parties desire to enter into an agreement enabling the
Counties to participate in the Investigative Program.
Accordingly, the parties agree as follows:
1. Services shall be shared as equally as possible and in
accordance with the Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement
between the State of Colorado, Department of Social Services
and GCDSS.
2. GCDSS will maintain such records as are deemed necessary
pursuant to the Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement.
3. All incentive monies determined from the Investigative
Program remain within the county in which the claim was
established.
4. The 25% of costs not reimbursed by the CCDSS shall be
shared equally between the parties (five counties).
5. GCDSS shall submit quarterly billings to the Counties for
shared costs incurred pursuant to this agreement.
6. Any party shall have the right to terminate this
agreement by giving the other parties 90 days written notice.
