SUBJ: AIRPORT EMERGENCY SERVICE
i. PURPOSE. This Letter of Agreement establishes procedures for
7d-Te-rting emergency equipment for the Eagle County airport.
2. CANCELLATION
Letter of Agreement, dated 6/14/84
a. Eagle Flight Service Station shall alert emergency equipment
when, in the reported opinion of any one of the following,
a potential or actual emergency exists:
1. The FAA specialist on duty.
2. The pilot of the aircraft concerned.
3. The aircraft operator or his representative.
4. A representative of the airport management.
C. After the emergency equipment has been alerted, Eagle Flight
Service Station shall notify only:
1. The local aircraft operator or his representative.
2. The representative of the airport management (see
letter attached).
It is the responsibility of the airport management to provide
any other not'ification of agencies or personnel that may be
required • the management.

d. Eagle Flight Service Station shall, wherever possible,
provide the emergency equipment with the following:
e The Eagle County airport manager is responsible for providing
Eagle Flight Service Station with information regarding
the amount and type of equipment available, and any changes
in the status • this equipment.
I Accident location on or near a specific runway will
be described as follows: i.e., east end of runway
7-25.
2. Accident location near the airport will be described
either geographically, or by giving the approximate
direction and distance from the airport.

3. The location of any accident shall, if possible, be
given
• the equipment operator at the time of alerting
the emergency equipment.

1. 'Telephone the Eagle office of the Colorado State Patrol,
number - 911.
Personnel of the Colorado State Patrol have procedures
to follow in these cases.
