AGREEMENT BETWEEN C87_73-17
THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO,
AND THE
STATE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE
THIS AGREEMENT, made this day of March,
1987, by and between the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
acting by and through its Board of County Commissioners
(hereinafter referred to as the "County"), and the State Board
of Agriculture in behalf of the Colorado State Forest Service,
Eagle Office, 604 Broadway, P.O. Box 1198, Eagle, CO 81631-
1198, PH: 328-1010 (hereinafter referred to as the "CSFS") is
for the purpose of allowing the County to use snowmobiles
belonging to CSFS for checking the VOR Tower on Red Hill near
Gypsum, Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that:
1. The two CSFS snowmobiles to which this Agreement
applies are John Deere Trailfire 440 (SIN J44FH099705M;
CSU I.D. Tag 865-240688) and John Deere Spitfire 340
(SIN JD4AG1080263M; CSU I.D. Tag 865-240693). The
CSFS snowmobile trailer to which this Agreement
applies is Yacht Club 1HJ011218F0021692 (License
Plate 06-1773). These items, and their associated
equipment (helmets, snowmobile storage box tools,
etc.) will be referred to in this Agreement as "CSFS
Equipment."
2. CSFS will allow County to use CSFS Equipment when
notified of the County's intention to use said
equipment at least 48 hours in advance of such
intended use and when said equipment will not be
needed by CSFS during the same period of time.
3. CSFS assumes no liability for personal injuries or
property damage that might result from the County's
use of CSFS Equipment.
4. The County assumes the responsibility of repairing
or replacing any items of the CSFS Equipment that
might be damaged while in County use.
5. The County will replace fuel used in CSFS Equipment
following each period of County use with a mixture
of 1 part 2 -cycle oil to 50 parts regular (leaded)
gasoline.

6. In exchange for allowing County to use CSFS Equip-
ment, County will provide maintenance services to
CSFS Equipment at cost to CSFS.
7. Prior to initial use of CSFS Equipment by County
under this Agreement, County mechanics will perform
whatever maintenance work they deem appropriate to
have CSFS Equipment in a safe, reliable operating
condition. Labor for these services will be provided
by the County at no cost to CSFS. CSFS will be
responsible for the purchase of any needed repair
parts.
8. County will provide storage for CSFS Equipment in
heated hangar facilities at the Eagle County Airport
at no cost to CSFS. County grants access to CSFS
Equipment at above mentioned facilities to CSFS.
9. CSFS will provide snowmobile operation training to
County employees who will be utilizing CSFS equip-
ment (if needed).
10. This Agreement may be altered by formal written
amendment signed by both parties to this Agreement
and attached hereto.
11. This Agreement may be terminated by either party ten
days following written notice to the other party.
12. The duration of this Agreement will be for calendar
year 1987. This Agreement may be extended in
subsequent years by written amendment signed by both
parties.
